My name is Yngve, but most of my friends call me Inka, I am living in Nordland in Norway and I am interested in WW2 history. I am a history geek, for ten years I have been part of a soldier recovery group in Latvia and I am member of the German and the Latvian War Grave Commissions. I make miniature models and I also write articles for history- and miniature modelling magazines. I started this site in November 2013 as I wanted to share my passion for history, metal detecting expeditions and relics. So here you`ll find lots of articles from different world war 2 sites, museum reports and bunker tours, and treks deep into the forests and mountains to forgotten places. I have many years experience as museum guide, and Guided tours of German coastal fortifications and POW camps in Norway, or museum and battlefields in Latvia and Estonia can be arranged.
